The MSE Research and Promotion Center (MSE Center) has evolved MSE test method from the principle invention of the hard thin film evaluation. Now the aim of the center is to improve the sophistication of the Micro Slurry-jet Erosion (MSE) test as a seamless nanoscale evaluation method from the surface to the inside for various thin films which were too thin, too hard, or too soft to evaluate so far.
